Some photos from my trip to Paris

So after sharing pics of my trip to Provence here and here, I thought it was about time I shared some photos from my trip to Paris as well. (Which reminds me, I must show you the things I got at the Louis Vuitton store at Galeries Lafayette next!)

Here are some highlights:

 I am weird in the sense that I really like the doors in Paris. To the extent that I take photos of them!

As you can see, the weather was pretty grey and rainy in Paris, just like it was in Provence when I was there but I still had a wonderful time. Paris is always Paris!

Well until I go back to Paris again, anyway. And I do hope that will be soon, since I really loved Paris, but as I don't have another trip planned, I have no idea when that might be.

Paris in pictures

I mentioned in my previous post that I was going to Paris. Well, now I've been, so it's of course time to share some pics of this amazing city with you!

I absolutely loved Galeries Lafayette! What an absolutely gorgeous department store!

Here are some pics of their food department. So many goodies of all kinds!

These are huge Nutella jars, containing 5 kg of Nutella!

If I understood correctly, these super adorable bottles contain some kind of syrup you add to regular water, in order to add flavor to it.

Tiny, limited edition Galeries Lafayette champagne bottles.

Berthillon, supposedly the place to have the world's best ice cream. So of course I had to give it a try, and I must admit, it was pretty good! Even for someone who is not in any way an expert on ice cream, like me.

Today I'm loving...

... this set of matching red/pink Louis Vuitton flats and a  bag in the same color, apparently something they released this summer.

I am obviously really excited about the prospect of being able to shop in Paris soon (due to my upcoming trip there), and Louis Vuitton is definitely included in my shopping plans, so who knows? Maybe I will actually be getting this set soon?

In any case, I am really loving keeping track of all the French brands and what's new with them. There are just so many gorgeous items to get! I am honestly more worried about having the funds for everything I want to get in Paris, rather than not being able to find anything to shop for there...

My next holiday has been booked

I will be going to Paris!

I've actually never been there before, but I have been wanting to go for a long, long time. I am currently planning the trip, and there are so many things to do and see there, I am getting really exited even just doing that. So needless to say, I can hardly wait to actually go!

I am making some New Year's resolutions this year:
To purge my bags, I don't need that many
To purge my shoes, I don't need that many
To go to either Paris or Florence (or why not both? But I am not sure how realistic that is, so let's make it at least one of them) during 2012.

Fun travel inspired Moschino tshirts

Moschino currently has a whole line of really nice travel inspired Moschino tshirts with prints from London, New York and Paris on them.

I personally love every single one of these tshirts, and if I just wore tshirts more, I would definitely be getting them all. Now I think I'll just settle for one of them. But I haven't decided which one yet.
