I did go shopping in a department store today, like I mentioned in the previous post, but I actually also did some online shopping, namely at the ASOS sale. If you've been reading this blog for a while, you are probably aware of the fact that ASOS is in fact one of my favorite stores to shop in online, if not THE favorite, so of course I always try to get something when they have a big sale. This time, I decided to pick up:
A Liquorish owl scarf, because I love owls and I thought this blue color would go rather well with jeans:
A red scarf with the same pattern, because I really don't have any red scarves for some reason. Which is actually a bit strange, since I love both the color red and scarves. So it was simply time to change that!
And these cute flats:
I love flats with animal faces on them for some reason, my Marc Jacobs mouse flats are among my favorite pairs, for instance, so I thought this would be a really nice addition to my collection.

The highlight of my day today
Was definitely some shopping I did, namely from Alber Elbaz's collaboration with Lancome:
I have been looking forward to putting my hands on something from this collection for quite some time now (proof can be found here), being a huge fan of both Lancome (their mascaras are simply the best!) and Alber Elbaz for years now.
And I have to say I wasn't disappointed, at least the packaging on this stuff is absolutely gorgeous!
If you're interested in what I thought of the mascaras themselves (as well as the freebie mirror they gave me because I bought 2 products from the line), I will be reviewing them over at my beauty blog shortly.

Today I'm loving...
... this gorgeous tapestry cape by Valentino:
Oh how I wish I had a lifestyle where I had a reason to wear such a cape even occasionally, but unfortunately, I don't think I do. But the details and the fabric and the cut on this cape are all just divine!

My weekend in pictures
(Lovely rose wine, highly recommend everyone who sees Mionette rose anywhere to pick up a bottle!)
Fish and chips, one of my favorite dishes. So unhealthy, but so yummy too!
Besides eating and drinking well, my plans are basically to read a lot as well as see some movies that were filmed in Paris (due to my upcoming trip there), I saw Amelie from Montmartre so far, and that was just lovely!

Today I'm loving...
... this set of matching red/pink Louis Vuitton flats and a bag in the same color, apparently something they released this summer.
I am obviously really excited about the prospect of being able to shop in Paris soon (due to my upcoming trip there), and Louis Vuitton is definitely included in my shopping plans, so who knows? Maybe I will actually be getting this set soon?
In any case, I am really loving keeping track of all the French brands and what's new with them. There are just so many gorgeous items to get! I am honestly more worried about having the funds for everything I want to get in Paris, rather than not being able to find anything to shop for there...
