Sorry for being sooo into all these Derriere la Porte items at the moment, I know it probably gets really repetetive, but isn't this cheese platter just too cute?

Not that I actually have a lot of people over for cheese, but... if I had this platter, I definately would!

The first of many?

Ok, so do you remember me mentioning Derriere la porte and their cute home items a while ago?

Well, I finally got around to getting my first piece this weekend, so I've spent quite some time admiring it at home.

I ended up getting this pink cookie jar. Now all I have to do is fill it with cookies... but you could have worse tasks in life, don't you agree?

Today I'm loving...

... this A.P.C Cotton and Linen Jumpsuit. It looks cool, yet really comfortable at the same time. Comfort is a huge thing for me, I don't mind wearing something uncomfortable for a party or special occation, but when you run around town... you need to be comfortable! (and the same goes for weekends in general. Except for the occational weekend party, of course!)

So I think this piece could be great for me this summer. But how fast would I get bored with it? And how risky is it to buy a jumpsuit online, without trying it on?

The weekend is almost upon us, isn't it wonderful?

To celebrate, I have recently gotten a very useful (yet not boring!) Alice Temperley (for Target) tank top, a lace bolero (I wanted a lace blazer but haven't found yet, so a lace bolero will have to do for now) and a satin ethnic kaftan (my first, but I figured it's probably good for casual parties in the summer?) on Ebay.

... this turquoise Under the Sea-dress from LuLus.

Turquoise is one of my favourite colors, it just makes me happy somehow. (And I think this ruffly, layered shape is very forgiving, which is a plus too!)

On my wishlist right now

I'm always on the hunt for something specific. At the moment it is a lace jacket. I would love to get one of these, from Stella McCartney or Karen Millen, but none of them are sold anywhere near where I live... so the hunt continues.

Today I'm loving...

... Derriere la portes interior design items. I ran into them for the first time at a small shop today, and it was love at first sight!

Sadly, I couldn't quite justify buying all of the items I saw (it's not something I actually NEED, after all!), and I couldn't choose just one either, so I ended up going home emptyhanded. But I plan to give it some more thought and go back in a few days to start my own Derriere la porte-collection.

Still loving the maxi dress

I haven't gotten tired of the maxi dresses yet, even though I have like 10 new ones for this season (I know, that might seem a bit obsessive, but I actually think it will work as a great basic this summer if done right).

I got my latest one today, a great, simple one that I think could look really lovely with the right (colorful) accessories.

... Karl Lagerfeld's Coca-Cola Light bottle. Not only because Diet Coke is my favourite drink, but also because the design really is very cute! I love the colors!

Just look at this wonderful Ruffle silk-tulle dress and at the adorable Lace-insert cashmere cardigan. How can you NOT love these pieces??

A lot of people don't like pastels, but I've always loved them. I haven't always worn them, but most pastels actually suit me rather well, so I should try to get better at that...

Latest Ebay finds

I've been on vacation for a few days, and it has been just wonderful. I've hung out on the beach, had beauty treatments, shopped and eaten very well.

But one is never too busy for some Ebay finds! That's why a pink (my first pink bag, even!) Furla bag (Furla is one of the most underrated brands for bags, if you ask me) and a black basic Norma Kamali organic tee are on their way to me now... I can't wait, since I really love bag and am in urgent need of some more basics...
