... something that I actually usually love too, and that is: Things that are not quite what the appear to be.Like this Donna Karan jacket. Can you believe that it is a leather jacket? The material just doesn't look like leather AT ALL, and that's exactly what makes it so cool, if you ask me.
I'd love to get my hands on this one, but living in a country where it's extremely hot for the most part of the year (which means I'd have to be insane to wear a leather jacket between April and November) and having way too many leather jackets already makes me think I can't quite justify buying it.
So I'm passing, yet drooling, for now...
This really does not look like a leather jacket and as you say, lovely to have something different and not quite what it appears to be.

Wow, looking at the pics, I thought it was silk! I like the draped effect as well, Rick Owens has done leather jackets in a similar shape which look very light as well. I have way too many leather jackets as well, but thankfully (or perhaps not?) I also get to wear them during non-winter months.
