On my lunch break

Instead of eating at my lunch break today I went shopping (yeah, I know... but I like to shop every once in a while, what can I do?).
The result? Two dresses for summer!

Its never too early to start preparing for the more pleasant time of year you know!

Today I'm loving...

... this wonderful Yves Saint Laurent Draped Jersey Dress.

Not only because jersey is one of my favourite materials right now (and has been for quite some time!), it is one of the most comfortable materials after all, as well as one of the easiest materials to care for, but also because the shape is so flattering and feminine. The dress still manages to look both comfortable, laid back and elegant at the same time, and I absolutely love that!

Happy Valentine's Day!

I've had a wonderful dinner at an Italian restaurant, and I've recieved beautiful flowers as well, so Valentine's Day was quite nice. Now I am catching up on New York Fashion Week and I'm really loving some of the pieces in Christian Siriano's collection!

I love how they look like "something I've seen before" until you look a little bit closer and notice that... "no, I haven't actually!!". It's all about the details really.

Today I'm wondering...

... what to wear. I am celebrating a birthday of a friend with great seafood, coctails and dancing (I am supposed to be out of the door in less than an hour!) so I would want to wear a flirty little dress, such as Kate Bosworth's in the picture (doesn't she look adorable?), but I can't seem to find anything suitable in my closet...

why do I always end up looking for outfits in the last minute? Argh!!

Ebay buys

It's freezing cold here at the moment (and probably everywhere else too?) and how do I tackle that? I start planning for summer! It might not make you warmer physically but it sure makes you feel happier (and warmer!) on the inside!

I live in Havaianas in the summer, so I got myself a new colourful pair on Ebay, and a white cotton Calvin Klein-cardigan (for summer nights, to put over your little sundress. I won't wear it with orange, though, like in the picture, I promise!).

Bring on summer, I'm prepared!
