So while I am not in Paris, the Mekka of the brand Derriere La Porte that I just live, anymore, I can still get some stuff online from this brand, which is just what I did after having organized my closet a bit for winter. I noticed I had some gaps when it came to organization in my closet, but luckily Derriere La Porte always seems to have just the stuff I need to help out. This time it was:
A storage box for swimwear
I don't have huge amounts of swimwear, I have to admit, but I do have enough to fill this box. So that's just what I will do!
A storage box for socks
I live in a country where it is not really necessary to wear socks all year round (it's simply way too hot for it during the summer!), so it will be really convenient to be able to put the socks away for a large part of the year, I think.
I also got some more scarf boxes (I blogged about those when I got my first ones, here), as well as this cute box to keep souvenirs in.
I don't tend to buy a lot of souvenirs to be honest, but I have some small knick knacks from travels that I think will fit nicely in this box.
I also ordered this cute storage box for pasta:
The reason was that I already have this storage box for spaghetti:
So I basically wanted to have the whole set, so to speak.
I got all of these items from the online store We Are Unique, that ships worldwide. All the images in this post are from their online store too. So if you are a fan of Derriere la Porte like me, I definitely recommend giving their online store a try. They really have a lot of their stuff, from both the older and the newer collections!

Shopped in Paris
I collect Derriere La Porte decorating items for my house, as I've mentioned several times on the blog already (to see some of my collection, read these posts for instance: 1, 2, 3 and 4), and since this brand is actually not only French, but also Paris based, I took the opportunity to get 2 new boxes to add to my collection when I went to Paris recently.
What I got was this box to put bills in, a great way to keep unpaid bills more organized, I think:
And I also got a box to keep sunglasses in.
I love both boxes, but the sunglasses box doesn't fit all of my sunglasses, I am afraid, so I think I might have to get another one of these boxes eventually.

Shopped: My new Derriere la Porte items
My love for Derriere la Porte and their adorable items is well documented on this blog (see some of the Derriere la Porte items I already have here, here and here, for example), but now I've ordered some more. I got 2 of these scarf boxes:
That matches the underwear boxes I already have perfectly, and it was on my Derriere la Porte wish list that I made a while ago, since I have quite a lot of scarves, so it seems like a really good and suitable purchase for me.
I also got this tray, where you are supposed to place your keys, your cellphone, your sunglasses and a bunch of other items when you come home and just want to drop everything as soon as you step through the door:
Quite useful for me as well, since I am currently just scattering these things very randomly all over my house when I come home. So hopefully this tray can help me break that habit!

My Derriere La Porte wish list right now
Even though I just got some new additions to my Derriere La Porte collection, there are still so many more Derriere La Porte items I want to get. Sadly, not all of them are available in the store where I usually buy my Derriere La Porte items, so I think I will have to find them online.
Here are some of the items I want most at the moment:
A bill box, perfect to keep all your bills that you need to take care of right now organized
A medicine box, even though I tend not to keep that many medicines at home. But maybe I would if I had a cute box to store them in?
A box to keep scarves in. I have the box for lingerie, but the matching scarf box would be awesome too!
A box for nail polish bottles. Would be very useful for me, actually, since I never manage to organize my nail polish properly.
A change tray, to throw all those things you keep in your pocket in, at the end of the day.

Some new additions to my Derriere la Porte collection
I've mentioned the fact that I absolutely love the French brand Derriere la Porte Paris for all kinds of quirky, cool items for the house. (I've shown off some other pieces in my Derriere la Porte collection here, here and here previously)
So I am always thrilled to add more fun DLP pieces to my collection. The other day I got this cute little box for my lingerie:
And while it is rather big, it did not fit everything I have, so I think I need to get another one.
I also got a set of 3 jars, one to keep make up and beauty products in, one to keep hair accessories in, and one to keep jewelry in. What is great about these jars, however, is that you can staple them on top of each other, which means the whole thing takes very little space, gotta love that! (even though the jars can't contain all of my make up or all my jewelry, of course, but I decided to put items I use a lot in them, for easier access)

More presents
Besides the H&M gift card mentioned here, I have also gotten some other presents recently, such as a few more pieces to add to my Derriere la Porte collection (see the things I already had before here and here).
What I got was a cute box to put tea bags in...
A sugar box (for sugar cubes, I think...)
And a napkin holder, like the ones you see in restaurants (not the nicest ones!) and coffee shops.
Pretty neat!

Newbies

Do you remember how I was all obsessed with the French brand Derriere la Porte a while ago? Well, I recently got two wonderful presents: A sewing box and a coffee jar, made by... you guessed it, Derriere la Porte! The obsessing starts again...

On my wish list
Sorry for being sooo into all these Derriere la Porte items at the moment, I know it probably gets really repetetive, but isn't this cheese platter just too cute? Not that I actually have a lot of people over for cheese, but... if I had this platter, I definately would!

The first of many?
Ok, so do you remember me mentioning Derriere la porte and their cute home items a while ago?Well, I finally got around to getting my first piece this weekend, so I've spent quite some time admiring it at home.
I ended up getting this pink cookie jar. Now all I have to do is fill it with cookies... but you could have worse tasks in life, don't you agree?

Today I'm loving...

... Derriere la portes interior design items. I ran into them for the first time at a small shop today, and it was love at first sight!Sadly, I couldn't quite justify buying all of the items I saw (it's not something I actually NEED, after all!), and I couldn't choose just one either, so I ended up going home emptyhanded. But I plan to give it some more thought and go back in a few days to start my own Derriere la porte-collection.
