As I've mentioned on the blog before, I am currently pregnant, but I don't have long to go now, which means that I have already started shopping a bit for what I will wear after the baby arrives. I definitely do not intend to wear maternity clothes after the baby is here (which would be a bit of an issue even if I did, since I have not bought a lot of maternity clothing anyway), but I do think I will want to be comfortable, so I started with picking up some pants that look comfy at the ASOS sale, which is on now.
Nothing's more comfy than leggings, of course. So I HAD to get 2 pairs of those, in different colors.
And these glammed up joggers are perfect for all the exercise I intend to be doing.
(I love the colors too!)
All these items, with the exception of the black leggings are currently on sale over at ASOS, so if you see something you like, you can get these items at discounted prices there now.
Next step will be to find some comfy, yet cute tops...

Today I'm loving...
... the food themed iPhone 5 cases ASOS just got in.
I don't know why, but these really make me smile for some reason, so I would love to carry them around and hopefully make others smile too. But unfortunately I do not have an iPhone 5 myself, as I am more of a Samsung Galaxy girl, so I won't be getting these, unless ASOS comes up with a Samsung Galaxy version of them!
(you can get the cases here, here and here)

Shopped, at ASOS again
Ok, so I know my last post was about stuff I shopped over at ASOS, on their sale. But as a matter of fact, I have been shopping on this site again, only at regular prices this time.
You see, I spotted this really cute white sparkly scarf by New Look, and felt I had to have it. Because yeah, I have a lot of scarves, but only two other white ones; an amazing Alexander McQueen skull scarf and a small (too small to wear very often) Dior scarf, so a cheapie white scarf is a great addition to my collection I would say.
I am also really into brown and tan accessories this season for some reason. It's quite unusual for me, as I generally don't like brown too much (it's a color that looks really bad on me if I wear it in clothes, so I think that's why), but suddenly I have started thinking that brown accessories can be really nice, simple and timeless. So I decided to start off with this bag, and I am planning to get a matching belt and shoes as well. But so far I only got this bag from River Island:
Let's hope my next post won't be ASOS shopping related. But given how much I like this site, I can't promise anything...

Shopped at the ASOS sale
If you've been reading this blog for a while, you may be aware of how big of a fan I am of ASOS in general (it's fair to say that I shop there on a regular basis) and of their sales in particular (I always seem to buy quite a lot of things when they have a sale), so it's really no wonder that I have once again managed to find quite a lot of things in their sale. What I got was:
- A pair of pastel green Pieces studded trainers.
I just love this color!
- A Becksondergaard C-Starry Sky Scarf.
I fell in love with the pattern on this scarf, to be honest.
And I was in need of a black scarf to add to my ever growing scarf collection anyway. Plus, it's always nice to get acquainted with new brands, and I have no previous experience with Becksondergaard, so it will be nice to get to know this brand a bit, quite a lot of their other scarves look really nice too.
- A lace print scarf from New Look.
I have always loved lace, and love anything in lace or that looks like lace, so I think it is about time I get a lace scarf too. The pattern seems pretty.

Shopped: At the ASOS sale
I did go shopping in a department store today, like I mentioned in the previous post, but I actually also did some online shopping, namely at the ASOS sale. If you've been reading this blog for a while, you are probably aware of the fact that ASOS is in fact one of my favorite stores to shop in online, if not THE favorite, so of course I always try to get something when they have a big sale. This time, I decided to pick up:
A Liquorish owl scarf, because I love owls and I thought this blue color would go rather well with jeans:
A red scarf with the same pattern, because I really don't have any red scarves for some reason. Which is actually a bit strange, since I love both the color red and scarves. So it was simply time to change that!
And these cute flats:
I love flats with animal faces on them for some reason, my Marc Jacobs mouse flats are among my favorite pairs, for instance, so I thought this would be a really nice addition to my collection.

Shopped: New Look bag and wedges from ASOS
New Look is a brand that I am not that familiar with, but I have been eyeing some of their stuff on ASOS lately, and today I finally took the plunge and ordered these aztec printed wedges (because I need a new pair of wedges anyway, I love how wedges elongate my legs, and I really don't have enough pairs):
And a bag that looks like it might match the wedges pretty well, even though I am not 100 % sure about that, but it's worth a try for someone like me, who absolutely loves matching sets!

Shopped: At the ASOS sale
It's no secret that I love shopping at ASOS, but somehow my wish list over there always seems to be so long that I never actually get around to ordering everything I want. And the items that have to wait the longest to get ordered are the rather boring ones. Somehow shopping for a new, pretty dress, for instance, always seems like so much more fun than buying basics and stuff like socks.
So I think their sales are an excellent opportunity to pick such "boring" items up, and that's actually what I've been doing during their sales for a long, long time already. This time I mostly got socks, not that I need them now, living in a super hot and humid country, but I will come fall and winter, and it's nice to be prepared for that in advance. These are the pairs I got:
I also got a pair of white Havaianas that were on sale too. I love Havaianas and have so many pairs already, making these a true staple for me, but for some reason I don't have a white pair yet. So I was happy to be able to pick these up at the sale as well:

Shopped: Paul's Boutique Lightning Elize Bag from ASOS
A co-worker of mine is a huge Paul's Boutique fan, and she has been talking about this brand for ages now. So when I saw that ASOS started selling this brand a while ago, I was really tempted to get some of their stuff too. But the rather high price, for a non-leather bag made me think about it for quite some time. But now I have taken the plunge, and finally ordered my first Paul's Boutique item, the Lightning Elize Bag:
If this bag is even close to as cute as my co-worker's many Paul's Boutique bags, I am sure I will absolutely love it! I am also thinking about getting the matching wallet, being a huge fan of matching sets and all...

Shopped: Cath Kidston Bloomsbury scarf and bag
I have 2 Cath Kidston bags, that I mostly use when I travel, and they have turned out to be of such nice quality that I recently decided to get 2 new Cath Kidston pieces, with their Bloomsbury print: this scarf:
And this matching bag:
I already got the scarf (I ordered both items from ASOS, but in separate shipments), and I have to say the print is even nicer in real life than in the images.
So I am well pleased with my new additions to my Cath Kidston collection, and it's not impossible at all that I will be getting more pieces from this brand eventually.

Shopped: ASOS wide leg scarf print pants
I've been wearing mostly skinny jeans and pants for a long time now, so it feels a bit weird to even consider other types of pants for me. I guess I just feel a skinny cut suits my body type the best. But I really liked these wide leg pants, with a really nice scarf print, so I decided to make an exception for them:
I think they will look cute over the summer with a black tank top and maybe even flip flops? And I feel strangely happy that I ventured outside of my pants comfort zone for a change, let's just hope I feel as good about it as I do now when the pants actually arrive too!
(the pants are available over at ASOS)

Shopped: New shoes
Ok, so the gorgeous Charlotte Olympia heels weren't for me, but like I mentioned when I noticed that the ASOS sale had started, I will probably be getting quite a few things from there. So it came as no surprise that I decided to order two pair of basic, but useful shoes just now.
One of the pairs I got was some high top studded trainers (because I already have a similar pair that I have been wearing to death when I need trainers for some reason, and I started being bored by always wearing the same pair) with studs and some shiny side panels:
And a pair of comfy looking heels with colorful studs:
Perfect for work, because I work long hours so I can't wear the prettiest and thinnest heels while working. And something that is kind of low and wide heelwise AND cute is really hard to find, so whenever I run into something that could work, I need to get them.
Both of these pairs are from ASOS' own brand. I have some ASOS shoes previously, and I've been very happy with them, so I'm thinking I will like these too. Fingers crossed!
And let's see what more the sale will bring me, when I have some time to spare....

The ASOS sale is on!
And while I really should not be shopping too much at the moment (like everyone, I've been spending quite a lot of money this time of year, and I also should be saving for some serious shopping I intend to do during an upcoming trip in February), it's hard to resist when I see items I've been eyeing for quite some time heavily discounted.
So I do think I will be picking up quite some items before the sale is over. So far, I've only splurged on some Freya (one of my favorite brands for lingerie, swimwear and sleepwear!) Piper items, such as this sleep set:

Online store reviews: ASOS and why I love shopping there
But despite having little time for shopping, I still think - always have - that it is important to look through new items in your favorite stores often if you want to get the best things, since the best stuff generally sells out fast (or does that just happen to me?). When I had more time on my hands, and worked very close to my favorite stores, that meant I went into the stores I liked 2 a week or so, for a quick browse, but I simply cannot do that anymore, which means I always find only the stuff no-one else wanted when I go shopping now (in weird sizes too!).
Except online. There shopping can still be done the way I like it: Quickly, whenever you have the time, and without any pressure to buy something immediately. So it's really a savior for me, it makes it possible for me to keep up with the latest trends, renew my wardrobe on a regular basis and so on.
I also live in a country where most people don't shop online, at least not in foreign online stores, so by shopping online, I make sure I have things I won't run into others wearing. (Not that I actually mind that much if others have the same things as me, but it's hard to get tons and tons of compliments daily that way. But being original gets you lots!)
So that's an added bonus for me.
One of my absolute favorite stores when it comes to online shopping is ASOS. I have been shopping there for years (I don't remember how many years exactly, but I would say for at least 6 or 7 years maybe?), and still continue to do so, which you may already have noticed if you are a regular reader of this blog. Some of my most recent ASOS buys were these and this, for instance.
The main reason I love ASOS is that they have everything: from clothes to gorgeous lingerie, to beauty products, shoes and other accessories. And they sell quite a lot of nice brands, too! Lulu Guinness, Armani, Freya, Fantasie (two of my favorite brands for lingerie!), Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors and many other designers can all be found here, but ASOS' own brand makes very nice, on trend pieces too.
Being able to get everything from one single place helps a lot, since sometimes I'm in the mood for basics, something I want something from a brand I love... I don't always shop for the same things basically.
A great thing about ASOS is also that they offer free shipping worldwide, which is just amazing. I think it is one of the main reasons I always check ASOS first when I need something, because a lot of similar stores charge a lot for shipping, unless you live in the same country where the store is located. So if you think you spend too much on shipping charges alone when shopping online, ASOS is probably a good choice for you!
I've also never had any kind of issues with the deliveries. I get what I order pretty fast, and they pack everything really well, so no matter if you order beauty products or something that is more fragile, you will get what you ordered in perfect condition.
Another great thing about ASOS is that they have sales, special deal, discounts and other deals that mean you can buy a lot of the stuff cheaper on a regular basis. So you should always look for a ASOS discount code before you send in an order (there are quite a few websites that list ASOS coupon codes out there), and it may be worth signing up for their newsletter (through the regular site) just in order to keep an eye out for their discounts and the ASOS sale, that comes up every once in a while. (depending on where you live, all ASOS discount codes might not be available for you though, some are specific for the US, UK, Australia and so on)
So I very highly recommend ASOS in every way. I obviously would not be such a loyal customer there if I didn't love what they're doing!
