... this supercute Lace-trimmed wool sweater by Jason Wu.

Of course, it is the lace details that make all the difference to me. I love them! And I love them even more on surprising pieces, like sweatshirts, or shirts that look like sweatshirts anyway.

Today I'm loving...

... the gorgeous Carolina Herrera lace gown Dianna Agron wore to the 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards.

I am a huge fan of lace, so whenever lace is used on any garment, I tend to be a fan. But this gown is even prettier than most lace items!

The only thing I am not completely sure about is the belt, I think the gown might have looked even better without it.

Today I'm loving...

... the Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2011 collection.

Now, Dolce & Gabbana is usually not one of my favorite brands, even though they have had some very nice collections in the past as well, of course.
But I saw this ad in a magazine I was looking through the other day, and became curious:

You see, I have always been a sucker for lace, and I thought it looked like they would have tons of lace pieces in their collection again. And yes, they have been using lace in their new collection. But with a modern twist, and in ways you haven't seen before.

I love both these looks!

And besides all the gorgeous lace (somewhat a Dolce & Gabbana trademark), they are also adding a lot of stars to their pieces, which really makes them stand out as well.

So yes, I would say Dolce & Gabbana did a very good job with their latest collection indeed! Thumbs up!

... this adorable dress from Red Valentino.

But that's no wonder, really, I have always been a huge Valentino fan and I love this color combination, as well as lace.

It really makes the perfect party dress, don't you think?

Gisele's April 2011 cover of Vogue. She looks stunning, and maybe it's because I am currently looking for a wedding dress, but I am absolutely obsessed with white lace these days.

... this navy blue Erdem lace maxi skirt, really gorgeous! Isn't it interesting that Erdem, a brand I actually do not own a single piece by, has quickly become one of my favorite brands in the last year or so? I really should get around to getting some Erdem pieces!

... this One Vintage Charlotte dress. Very original, I always adore the combination of black and white, and that it has lace on it is really an added bonus!

Today I'm loving...

... this cute Lace Kaftan sleeve Maxi Dress from ASOS.

I love maxi dresses as you know, and I am also quite a fan of lace, so this is just perfect for me. I just can't decide if I should get it in black (a classic color that is very easy to accessorize) or in mocha (more fun, but I might get bored of the color after a while), since both colors are quite stunning!

If anyone else is looking for the perfect, casual lace t-shirt, I just found a great one at American Apparel (and they also sell other awesome lace pieces if you are interested). Highly recommended!

The weekend is almost upon us, isn't it wonderful?

To celebrate, I have recently gotten a very useful (yet not boring!) Alice Temperley (for Target) tank top, a lace bolero (I wanted a lace blazer but haven't found yet, so a lace bolero will have to do for now) and a satin ethnic kaftan (my first, but I figured it's probably good for casual parties in the summer?) on Ebay.

On my wishlist right now

I'm always on the hunt for something specific. At the moment it is a lace jacket. I would love to get one of these, from Stella McCartney or Karen Millen, but none of them are sold anywhere near where I live... so the hunt continues.
