What I have been hearting lately

Finally the weekend is here! And since it's been a rather rough week for me, I couldn't be happier about it!

Today I'm loving...

... the fact that there are actually Lanvin macaroons out there! I had somehow missed this completely, even though they were first launched a few months ago.

And I love both macaroons and Lanvin a lot, so what's not to love about the idea of combining the two?

Not to mention these macaroon boxes are crazy cute!

Today I'm loving...

... several of the individual pieces in the Spring 2013 Anna Sui collection, even though I am not too crazy about the styling. I simply think that Anna Sui's very detailed pieces would look better if the rest of the outfit and styling were kept more simple. But the individual pieces, the details and the fabrics are amazing!

Here are some examples:

The fabric on the dress is gorgeous, and I love the shape, even though I would probably wear it as a tunic, with very slim pants, and not as a dress.

This dress would look absolutely adorable if you accessorized it in a more color coordinated way, I think!

This dress is adorable too, and I quite like the jacket too, even though I don't think they go that well together.

And this leather jacket is just perfect! A great combination of edgy, girly and sweet!

Today I'm loving...

... the idea of using vintage Louis Vuitton luggage as a piece of home decor. It looks so chic, so effortless and so timeless!

Now, if I could only find some actual vintage Louis Vuitton luggage somewhere, I would definitely make this a reality! Too bad they are so rare and so insanely expensive...

I am on We Heart It!

I might not always be the best at updating this blog, but I do try to stay active over at We Heart It (a photo sharing network I really, really recommend!) as best as I can, since it takes much less time to "heart" a photo than to write a whole blog post. Redecoration project

On a regular basis, I feel the need to redo parts of my home, and fall is generally a good time for that, since you suddenly spend so much more time at home, so you automatically notice all the things that bother you. So along with spring, fall is the most common time for all my remodeling projects. This fall I have decided to redo my living room, my old couch suddenly seems so boring and my Lazy Boy lounge chair has also gotten way too worn out, so it is definitely time to get a replacement for that one too.

Besides replacing those things, I have also decided to get some new art to add to the walls. I actually only have one big framed poster (a gift from a friend) on my living room walls right now. So I think some new posters in similar frames would be a good choice when it comes to new art to get. At the moment, I am looking at an online store called ArtStar, who sell framed posters for great prices, so I am hoping to find something cool there. Or maybe Etsy is a good choice too? They do have posters and art there too, don't they?

A dream of mine would also be to frame old covers from fashion magazines, from say the 1940's, 1950's or 1960's, but I highly doubt that my other half would be too happy about that, at least in the living room, so that project will have to wait until I have an office of my own or something.

Today I'm loving...

Lucy Hale's absolutely stunning Moschino gown at the CMA Awards 2012, it looks amazing on her, but would look great on women of all ages. And that's a rare thing in a gown!

I am not that familiar with Lucy Hale otherwise, but I guess I will have to keep an eye on her now, girl seems to have great taste when it comes to gowns at least!
