To be honest, I have never been obsessed with Sonia Rykiel, but I have a friend who is. And I can begin to see why...

Today I'm loving...

... this lovely Sonia by Sonia Rykiel silk t-shirt.
Just the fact that it is a silk t-shirt is wonderful, I mean, isn't it the perfect way to make a very casual, rather boring garment into something luxurious? I love the idea!
But besides the material, the bow is really adorable too. The trick is really just to keep everything else very strict, and not add anything else very feminine.

I have a friend who absolutely loves Sonia Rykiel, she is always going on and on about how talented she is. I do not usually agree completely, I think there are several more talented designers out there at the moment (Alber Elbaz, for starters!), but her Resort 2011 collection is really quite pretty and wearable!
