My weekend so far...

... has been rather lovely. I've had some lovely champagne, Mumm's Cordon Rouge is a really good champagne if you want something both affordable and delicious:

And I still have another bottle, of Moet & Chandon, left for tonight or tomorrow night:

I also managed to do some shopping, and get 2 new pairs of sunglasses, which I am very excited about.

These are my new Valentino sunglasses, mostly black in colored but with one cream/beige colored stripe as well:

I think I will be using these quite a lot, black sunglasses are the most versatile ones, after all.

But since the store I bought these in had a sale, with 50 % off all sunglasses, I got a more "fun" pair as well, a pair of blue Chloe sunglasses from their latest sunglasses collection:

These are not going to match as many things as the black ones, but blue is one of my favorite colors, and I think they will look great with at least blue jeans, which I do wear on a regular basis, so I hope I will get quite some use for these too!

Oh no!

Remember how I told you I got a new pair of Dior sunglasses back in February? Well, I loved those sunglasses and have been wearing them constantly since the sun started coming out this year. But I broke them today, on the bus, since someone pushed me, causing them to fall down on the floor, right when people were getting off the bus. It all happened so fast, there was really nothing I could possibly do about it.

So now I need to get a new pair again. I know I want a pair of designer frames again, since I was so happy with these, and have been very happy with my other designer pairs (mostly Chloe and Cavalli), possibly even another pair from Dior, or maybe from Marc Jacobs, whose sunglasses I have been dying to try anyway. So maybe it's not such a bad thing after all? I am getting a new pair out of it, after all!

Random thought of the day

Doesn't the H&M Conscious Collection resemble the Chloe collection with the scalloped hems quite a lot? Not that that is a bad thing, not at all!
But still rather interesting to see such a huge resemblance!
