... this gorgeous maxi dress with a galaxy print from Modcloth.
I've been obsessed with maxi dresses for summer for a really, really long time, but my galaxy print obsession is slightly newer. I do have some galaxy print items in my wardrobe already, all recently purchased, like this galaxy print wrap top:
But like with all things I really like, I tend to go overboard, so I am already thinking of more galaxy print items to add to my wardrobe!

Today I'm loving...
... Carrie Hammer's absolutely gorgeous newspaper skirts.
As a SATC fan, I've been dreaming of SJP's iconic newspaper dress for years, but never found something that quite measured up. But these gorgeous skirts do come pretty close! So I do believe I have to get one...
You'll find the pencil skirt here and the roomier one here.

Today I'm loving...
... Sarah Jessica Parker's very colorful outfit.
The coat is just gorgeous, and the dress is really pretty too. I'm not sure I would combine the two personally, but the look, with both pieces together, is very Carrie, so can't complain.

Today I'm loving...
... these pretty images of Cara Delevigne and Saskia de Brauw for the Chanel Cruise 2013 campaign.
I think it's because of the bird cages, I've always loved vintage bird cages. But I would never actually put a bird in one of these, I think that would be way too cruel!

Today I'm loving...
... the idea of using some rather rare Hermes items for decorating your home.
Remember how I loved the idea of using old Louis Vuitton trunks as part of your decor a while ago? Well, this is pretty much the same thing, just with an even fancier brand.
Here are some examples of things one could, purely hypothetically (since these things are really, really hard to find) use for that:
So Hermes is not only about bags for me anymore! Even though, like most girls, I would love a Hermes bag too, of course!

Wonderful weekend
Lately, I've been kind of busy with all sorts of things, and because of that, I've been kind of bad at making time for myself, relaxing and pampering myself. Which is a shame, we all need that from time to time, after all. But that all changed this weekend, because I didn't have anything planned! On purpose!
So I booked an appointment at a spa, which was actually a gift, but I hadn't gotten around to actually going yet, ate amazing things (leek patties with tzaziki, antipastis and great pasta, just to mention a few things), took nice long walks (see some of the scenery I saw in the photos in this post) and also went to the movies. Not once, but twice!
And now I have to say, my batteries are not only recharged, but as good as new! So I really have to make sure I plan more weekends just like this one in the near future. So far, super pampering and relaxing weekends have been too far apart for me...
Hope everyone else is having an amazing weekend too!

Today I'm loving...
... this gorgeous blue and white gown, that reminds me of china for some reason, from the Alice + Olivia spring 2013 collection.
I love how it's a classic gown, that still looks modern and interesting at the same time. And I've always been a huge fan of white and blue together, so they chose a really great color combination as well!

My new Missoni scarf has arrived!
Remember how I was so excited about the Missoni scarf I got over at The Outnet a while ago? Well, I am still pretty excited, because now it has arrived, and it is absolutely adorable in real life too!
Over all, I was pleased with The Outnet too, I guess I should write a more thorough review on them though. So no more on that for now.
But I definitely think I will be getting some more Missoni scarves from them, they have other color combos too, after all! And I'm hooked!

Today I'm loving...
... a movie I went to see yesterday, Anna Karenina, from 2012, featuring Keira Knightley, Alicia Wikander, Jude Law and Aaron Taylor-Johnson, just to mention a few of the most memorable members of the cast.
You see, this movie is set in 19th century Russia and is kind of half theater, half movie, which makes it very interesting to watch. And the outfits, the interiors... well, pretty much everything you see, is pretty much what you associate 19th century nobility in Russia with, so it is just gorgeous!
And of course, Anna Karenina is actually a must read book in every way (at least if you are a fan of the Russian greats like Tolstoy, like myself), so if you haven't had a chance to read it yet, at least see the movie! I felt it captured a lot of things I liked a lot about the book pretty well, too. But even though I had read the book, I also think the movie was interesting to see, because it was so artistic. So even if you have read the book, I highly recommend this for everyone liking vintage glitz and glamour, as well as costume dramas, well worth seeing!
You should be warned that men might not be as into this movie as women, however. My own certainly did not like it as much as I did, and when leaving the movie theater after the movie was over, I actually saw that some of the men - most of whom had been dragged there by wives or girlfriends, had fallen asleep! So go with a girlfriend, your mother or sister instead if you can!
